"Little Reminders" Pre-Orders Are Now Live

The last few years, I’ve put a book out with my photography work from the year. Each year, I’m delighted by the support of my friends and family - and it warms my heart to see an order come in, especially when it surprises me.

This year, I wanted to try something different.

I run an art project called There is Art in Everything with my friend, William Wallace. We’ve mostly released music, and we’ve been wanting to try something different. We decided to publish a book. Not a zine, not a photography book, but something else entirely.

What is Little Reminders?

I’ve been writing little pieces of advice to myself for a long time now, and wanted to compile them into a feel-good, almost self-help book. Little Reminders started as a small idea, and became so much more over time.

There is Art in Everything has always been focused on raw expression, dealing with trauma & being a manifestation of formative moments. We’ve released a few songs we’re proud of, and we knew from starting the project that we’d want to make multimedia works and projects. Little Reminders is our first whack at that.

Why Announce a Book in the Middle of a Pandemic?

It’s no doubt that the current COVID-19 pandemic is making it hard on people.

I’ve had a number of cancellations on photography gigs, and the pandemic is keeping me from being able to shoot concerts, events, or go on tour.

Since the book was mostly ready, I decided to fast-track the release and get the pre-orders out sooner than planned. Mostly, I wanted to be able to give my friends and fans something to look forward to, and I also needed to gauge how well it would sell before sending it to the printers.

As with all of my books, a limited amount will be available. The preorder will help me determine how many to print. For a limited time you can save on the pre-order (until 04/24/2020). It’s also going to help put some money back in my wallet to get me through the next few hard months.
